How to hard reset Blackberry OS 10

Can anyone explain, how to hard reset Z30 and Passport, for how many seconds or till when, read it and advised it many times but still the time period not very clear

Solusi:

Hard reset is done by holding both volume buttons until phone restarts.

So you hold down both volume up and down buttons for a period (7-10 secs ~) until phone shuts down, you should be able to see the screen turning off and on again showing a successful restart.

Only do it for 10 seconds... If you hold for 2 mins it will keep on hard resetting until you let go.

Turn off your device

Press and hold the Power/Lock key on the top of your BlackBerry device.

Put your device in standby mode

When you put your BlackBerry device in standby mode, the device screen backlight turns off and the screen locks. Wireless connections and clock alarms aren't affected.

Press the Power/Lock key on the top of your device.
To wake up your device, swipe up from the bottom of the device screen.

Restart or reset your device

If your BlackBerry device is running slower than usual or not responding, turning off and turning back on your device might help to solve the problem.
Do one of the following:
To restart your device, press and hold the Power/Lock key on the top of your device. Tap Restart.
To reset your device, press and hold the Power/Lock key for ten seconds.
